Made to order.Approved at every step.
A good website is the result of hundreds of small decisions made well. Our process exists to make those decisions with you, in order and in writing.

01
Conversation
We start by listening. You tell us about the firm, the people you serve and what isn’t working today. We ask a lot of questions, then put our thinking in writing.
What you receive
- A written proposal: scope, schedule and a fixed fee
- A clear list of what we need from you
Your decision: You accept the proposal. Nothing is committed before this.
02
Discovery
We study your current site and analytics, your competitors and your clients’ questions. Then we write the brief that every later decision is checked against.
What you receive
- The brief: goals, audience and success measures
- A site map
- A content plan for every page
Your decision: You approve the brief.

03
Direction
We develop two or three distinct visual directions and show each one on your real content, not on placeholder text. Typography, colour, photography and tone, side by side.
What you receive
- Two or three directions to compare
- A recommendation, with our reasons
Your decision: You choose a direction.

04
Design
Every key page is designed in detail, on desktop and on phone, and assembled into a clickable prototype. You can open it anywhere, share it with partners and leave notes directly on the page.
What you receive
- A clickable prototype of the key pages
- Revisions until you approve
Your decision: You approve the design.

05
Build
We build the site on a private preview link that updates as we go. You can watch it come together and raise anything as soon as you see it.
What you receive
- A private preview link
- A short written update every week
Your decision: You sign off the preview.

06
Launch
We connect your domain, redirect every important old address, set up analytics if you want them and check the site on real phones, tablets and computers. Then we go live together, on a day that suits you.
What you receive
- Launch on your schedule
- A handover document for your records
Your decision: You give the go-ahead.
How we work together.
One point of contact.
You work directly with the person designing and building your site, from the first call to launch and beyond.
Everything in writing.
Proposals, briefs, decisions and changes are written down, so nobody has to remember who said what.
Changes, priced up front.
Revisions are part of every milestone. If you want something that wasn’t in the brief, we quote it in writing before we do it.
You set the pace.
Most of a schedule is review time. Review quickly and you launch sooner; if you are busy, we plan the milestones around you.
Questions.
How much does a website cost?
Every project is quoted individually after our first conversation, because a five-page site for a solo practice and a forty-page site for a multi-office firm are different things. You receive a fixed fee in writing before any work begins.
How long does it take?
It depends on two things: the size of the site and how quickly decisions come back. A small site, with a client who can review promptly, can go from accepted proposal to launch in a few weeks. Larger sites take longer. Your proposal includes a schedule built around your availability.
Do you work with firms outside Long Island?
Yes. Most of the work happens over video calls and the shared preview, so distance matters very little. If you are nearby, we are happy to meet in person.
Can we update the site ourselves?
If you need to, yes. For pages that change often, such as news or team pages, we set up a simple editor. Everything else can be handled under a care plan.
What happens to our current site and search rankings?
We map every important page on your old site to its new address with permanent redirects, so links and search rankings carry over.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain name, the design, the content and the code belong to your firm. We register the domain and host the site for you, and if you ever want to move, we transfer the domain to you and hand over every file.
Where is the site hosted?
On fast, globally distributed hosting that we manage for you, so there are no servers or renewals for you to look after.
